Networking in a post Covid World

I’m new to real estate investing and want to start working on the networking aspect. Ideally I would love to attend meetups and networking events, as I believe in person connections can be much stronger.

Covid has changed the dynamic of networking as it has shifted towards a virtual experience. (Webinars, virtual meetups, etc)

For experienced networkers who have relied on f2f interactions primarily, has this shift to virtual networking been positive? Do you find it as effective or possibly even more effective? Do you think this is will be the primary means of building your network not just for the short term but also long term in this industry?
