First home purchase, renovation advice!

Hello,

We are trying to buy our first investment property which we plan to use as our primary residence for the first year while we renovate. I am looking for someone in the central Ohio area who would be willing to help with renovations (paid of course) that also wouldn't mind teaching us along the way! I want to learn as much as possible. I think the renovation side is where I could use the most help.
