SFH fence replacement recommendations

I recently bought my first SFH in Temecula, CA. I have ideas for a fence. Both ideas include a more longer lasting fence requiring little to no maintenance, or a more sturdy and decorative fence with maintenance every few years. With my first rehab, what makes more bang for my buck? Hope to hear from someone soon and hopefully there is an idea that can bring both my ideas together. Thank you.
