Long Island House Hacking

Hello!

My name is Joe, and hopefully, in a years time I want to be in the position where I am looking for my first property to house hack.

I am from Long Island and want to be able to do it here, if possible. I wanted to see if there are any others out there who already do this in the Long Island market.

Which areas make the most sense? Multi-family or single and rent out rooms?

If anyone can help that would be awesome!
