New Orleans, LA Investing

Hello BP fam- I am an investor in New Orleans, La. I am currently under contract on a property in the “Dixon” neighborhood. The plan is to owner- occupy while also utilizing AirBnB to help cover the mortgage. I also have my eyes on some potential rehabs throughout the neighborhood where I see opportunity as well.

I was hoping to connect with any local investors that may have current or past experience in this area of New Orleans, or just any knowledge of trends and activity that is going on in the neighborhood. I see opportunity, but I would love to connect and hear some other thoughts /opinions on investing in this specific area of the city. I am open to any and all info/knowledge/thoughts!
