Brand New in Boulder, CO

Hey Everyone,

A 3-hour conversation on a plane ride totally blew out my idea of what's possible, led me to the bigger pockets podcast, and ultimately landed me here to this site. I'm brand new to all of this and just trying to absorb as much information as possible while saving for a down payment on my first property. Reading the guides, listening to the show.

The market that I'm in is pretty crazy, with $300,000 1bdr/1bth properties, but I'm hopeful I'll be able to work with a broker or agent to find something that can make a profitable investment somewhere in the area. Really appreciate that there's a community of people dedicated to this as it seems like the most clearly defined path to some semblance of financial independence. I have another career path that I want to stick with but love the idea of house hacking and BRRRR to build equity. It makes me cringe at how much rent I've already flushed away for what I'm now seeing is no good reason!
