Seeking info on the Kelowna BC market

Steve Davis
Posted

Hello all. I am seeking information on Kelowna BC in Canada. Are there any investors on this site currently involved in this market? I am wondering how developers & landlords alike are making out in this market. Is there still a lot of opportunity for infill multi unit new construction within the urban core? How are landlords making out with multi family units? Any info is appreciated! Thank you

@Steve Davis

Hi Steven. Great to hear more interest in the Kelowna market!

I own a buy and hold single family here in Central Kelowna and I work for a contracting company that does residential and commercial.

Kelowna is estimated to grow by 50,000 people in the next 20 years which it’s about 130,000 right which is a substantial increase. Currently has the 7th highest rent in Canada.

Simply said Kelowna is a place people want to live. Either from other countries or other provinces and is the biggest city between Vancouver and Calgary with a strong economy.

I’m looking to grow my portfolio here if you’d like to connect.
