I'm a fairly new real estate investor who currently owns two duplexes. So far, I've found these properties using the MLS and have financed them traditionally through a 30-year mortgage. I'd like to learn more about how investors are finding off-market deals as well as those who have gone down the private financing route. It would be great to meet up with individuals in the Cleveland, Ohio area who have done this already or are interested in doing so. I'd be happy to share some of the roadblocks I've faced as well as what's worked and what hasn't so far with me to add value.
