Houston Investing Tales over Cocktails or Convo over Coffee?

Hello. I have learned so much in life and among those things is the power of networking and conversation. I am not born and raised in Houston and am new to investing in Houston and it has been a bit difficult locating a mentor, however the conversations I have had with people I encounter have been very insightful. There are those individuals such as myself who love to listen, learn, implent, and get their hands dirty and there are those who love to share experiences, give guidance or advice, teach what they know and watch others bloom (sow and reap concept) so I am extending an open invite to anyone with experience in the investing world (investors, contractors, agents, broker, insurance folk, etc..etc) to meet for coffee, cocktails or tea anytime so I can learn more and pick your brain or just become more motivated by you and maybe you will leave motivated by me somehow. I am slightly awesome! I will pick upthe tab if you let me pick your brain or just share your story.

I know time is valuable and I appreciate any time someone is willing to give whether 10 minutes or an hour. Social media and technology causes so many to be non social and I value in person meetings simply because passion someone may have for what they do, frustrations, etc. can not be seen on the phone and in person networking is awesome. So there are some great people on Bigger Pockets in my area, anyone who enjoys networking also, well I am here.

I am in Vintage Park area but will go wherever for a meet up. When my husband is off, he will attend as well to learn and be inspired. Hope to meet some of you in person soon!
