Maryland Connections and Advice

Hello BP Community,

I am currently stationed in Hawaii; however, I will be getting out of the military soon and heading to Maryland where I will be going to school at University of Maryland College Park. I wont be going until around April to May time frame but I am looking to connect with agents, investors, contractors, and anyone who will help me on my journey. I want to begin with a multifamily and house hack while I am going to school. Any advice on the area would be great i.e. which areas are the best around College Park. I'd prefer to be within 30 minutes of the school but I am willing to go a little further since the CP area is very expensive.

Any advice or connections I can get would be great. If there is anything I can do in return please let me know
