Oklahoma City Out-of-state Investment

Hello BP...

I'm a new investor from Cali who has decided to that I want to focus my investment efforts in OKC. I'm down there at least twice a year for family (just got back today) and can see the rise of new development in the area.

I have some cash but I really want to focus on using the BRRR method to buy & hold SFR (prefer multi-family) with using as little cash as possible.

Any suggestions on putting together a team:

- Investor friendly RAs

- Wholesalers in the area to provide leads.

- Look at properties and provide rehab quotes.

- Rehab Contractors

Hi @Tahlia Derbigny

OKC is a solid place to invest. One huge advantage to this market are the people. Most of the people I've met are happy to help out other investors, so definitely take advantage of that!

You can make some great connections through BP, but it's even better if you are in the area from time to time to meet people and see properties.

We have two different REIA groups and several real estate investor and wholesaler meet-ups. Next time you are in town try to see if there are any meet-ups going on when you are here. They are great places to make connections!
