House Hacking in Navarre, FL

My family will be moving to the Navarre/Fort Walton Beach area in March and I'm looking to purchase a multifamily where we can live in one unit and rent out the other 1-3 units. So far I have found one duplex that is out of my price range and a triplex that is in a part of Fort Walton I would not want to live with my Family. I'm Looking to spend up to 400K for the right investment. If you have any advice on how to get into the multifamily rental market and house hacking in the local area I would love to hear it.
