Internships- RE Development/Project Management

Hello all! Currently I am a new RE broker for Maryland however, been in real estate for 16 years. I am also pursuing a masters in RE development starting summer of 18’. Question is, what would be the best method to find internships? I have applied for at least five internships, and more administrative jobs to no avail. I am assuming because I have no construction or engineering background yet, or maybe I am taking the wrong approach. Thanks!
