Investor friendly brokerage

Hi, My name is John Lewis and I just passed my exam to become an agent in Houston, Texas. Not only do I want to work in the traditional real estate world of buying and selling but I also wanted to work with investors! If I could I would like to just pay a flat transaction fee if possible, but that isn't as important if not possible. So if anyone knows of a brokerage I can have sponsor me and hold my license that could cover those bases please let me know!!! Thanks

I'm from New Jersey so I don't have any recommendations but being that I recently got licensed I would say to potentially think about signing on with a brokerage that offers a lot of training.  I would think a flat transaction fee brokerage would offer you the bare minimum which could be beneficial for an investor just looking for a place to hold their license.  After passing my RE exam, I didn't realize that there still is so much more to learn about the business.  Since you say you want to work in the traditional real estate world of buying a selling I think that signing on with a brokerage that offers a training and/or coaching program would be really beneficial for you in the long run.  Remember, once you gain experience you can then switch over to a flat transaction fee brokerage.  Just my 2 cents though.  Best of luck!
