Finding A Mentor

Hi my name is Josiah and I need some help.

I got my real estate license in California, living in Whittier back in January to learn as much about real estate as possible with the goal of becoming an investor. Now I feel it is time to start diving into the investing world and I am really serious about it.

I realize there are so many ways and routes people take to get started, but I really believe the best thing for me to do is FIND A MENTOR. Not just any successful real estate investor but someone I could see myself emulating and one who holds similar values as myself. I am a born again Christian so I am hoping and praying to find someone of a similar mindset to help me along in this journey of investing.

I'm not requesting for a mentor since that is against the rules but, how can I find this person? Someone willing to take me under their wing so to speak, and help me grow and learn?

I don't want to just mooch off of them but would like to work under or with to see the business day to day and what it takes. Can anyone please help me in some way with this request? Recommendations? Advice? Tips?

Thanks so much for your help, Josiah Santillana
