1st Official SE Michigan BP Meetup - Hosted by Tom A and Aaron Yates

Hi BPer's, @Tom A. and I have been collaborating on a SE Michigan BP Meetup. We are looking to create a monthly meeting that is more on a personal level compared to a normal REIA.

This event is an open event at this point. The plan is to have alternating days and locations each month to help benefit members who may live farther away or have an event on the same day every month.

The idea is to introduce yourself, talk and learn from others in the industry whether new or used in Real Estate.... ha ha ha.... Sorry.. couldn't resist.. I am personally looking forward to achieving the 'used' status!!! ha ha ha.. wait, that just doesn't sound right does it... oh man!!

Anyways, moving on...

The first meeting is going to be held at Copper Canyon Brewery in Southfield.

At this first event will be hosted by myself (CKI Properties Group) and Tom A. and plan to continually host them in the future. Food is not supplied and there are no fees. Each attendee will be responsible for their own food and drinks and paying their tab before leaving.

I'm trying to get @James Ross to attend because he has some AWESOME experience and stories and he's big enough to handle all you rowdy investors in the event you get carried away!! Just kidding.... maybe....

Also my Agent Neil Mellendorf is planning to attend providing no schedule conflicts and can provide great experience and wants to share knowledge of sheriff's deed sales and bankruptcy court deals as this is his concentration now within his personal investing.

This is not a REIA setting where people will be getting up and speaking. It's a meet and greet. Introductions, Food, drinks, and conversation. No sales pitches, no marketing! This is networking and relationship building.

We are shooting for the second week of November and are still trying decide the best day. We are looking for some input on whether to make it a weeknight or a weekend evening. I personally like the weeknight because i try to spend weekends with my family due to my busy schedule during the week. But I like the weekend evening in the event I stay up to late then I don't have to go to work the next day.

I'm going to contact them to see when the best time is in case we have something like 20 people show.

So please respond with your night preference to help us make a decision and schedule a date by November 1st. We do not want to schedule on days that a normal REIA is scheduled because I myself like to attend my local REIA every month as well.

It would also be nice to get some confirmation of people who will be coming once I release the actual date so we can make sure the restaurant can accommodate all of us.

I Look forward to connecting with everyone in person. We have some great people and with all of our talents combined will be able to help others grow with their own passions and dreams of Real Estate.
