@Joshua D. I agree. There is just no sense of "doom and gloom" here. I grew up in Akron and I remember the complete sense of doom in the 90's when all of the tire companies and their headquarters fled for the South and cheaper, non-union labor. Toledo is no longer dependent on Detroit for it's economy, and the rental market here is unbelievably strong. I had an apartment of mine rented in 12 hours this past week with a $50 rent increase that didn't make anyone bat an eye. @Sachin Maskey I think Toledo is a great place to invest, I work with a Property Management company and am a Realtor here, so let me know if you have any other questions.
