Thoughts on epoxy countertops?

To me, epoxy countertops seem to be like the LVP of countertops, due to their durability and cheap price. However, I've never done them myself or met anyone who has. I've only seen videos on YouTube. Do you think they would be good for rentals, increasing value of a property, BRRRR, etc.? Thanks!

I have never done one, but I have watched videos on it like you. I have replaced countertops and it is actually not that hard or expensive to just replace it. For that reason, I don't see the point of epoxy. It is a little cheaper, but when you figure in your time, it seems it would cost more. I am not sure about durability since you are bonding to the old countertop. It probably depends on how well you did your prep work.
