researching rental prices
im searching for new markets, and the best way i have to find new market rental prices is basically looking at the big rental websites like apartments.com and rent.com to find averages between different rental types. anyone know faster, better ways of doing such. and how to know if its a reliable data source. hopefully for free!

I use those sites, craigslist, realtor.com, etc. I also use Rentometer.com, but they're getting better at noticing I've used my "5 free reports" dozens of times, and I'm pretty much locked out. I may end up paying for Rentometer, because it's a very easy to use tool, and the paid version offers more detailed reports.
