Make first BRRRR investment now or wait

Patrick McCarthy
Posted

I am a new buy and hold investor and I’m anxious to make my first purchase. Experienced investors are quick to say make that first investment and get your momentum rolling. I can understand that but making a first investment in this economy seems to be a real reason to hesitate. Is this the right time to invest? Or is it best to wait and see what happens with unemployment continuing and stimulus checks stopping? I clearly don’t want to buy an investment property when my tenants may soon be unable to pay rent and my cash flow is delayed getting off the ground. Foreclosures are projected to dramatically increase largely due to lack of rent being collected. That seems to be a good reason to not jump too soon. I would appreciate the experienced investors thoughts on this. Thank you very much. I’m a huge fan of BP.
