First Time Property Owner

I am considering getting into real estate investing as an adult and have been reading about different ways to get started. I have looked at saving for a down payment and then renting out the property to pay for the mortgage and having the cash flow from the rental. I mainly need to ask how difficult it is to find a tenant for a house so I can make extra money in order to buy a second property.

I also have heard of starting out wholesaling but don’t know anything about that type of real estate investing.
