Looking for advice and relevant learning material relating to the BRRRR strategy

Hi BP community,

I've been passively learning as much as I can about real estate investing while I save my money up. By passively learning I mean I am reading books and being active on the BP community page. As I get more confident in my real estate knowledge I plan to actively learn by going to real estate meet-ups and meeting up with some local investors. I then plan to invest in NYC or upstate NY with my brothers and the capital we have to invest is ~90k. Since I'm new to the game I was planning to set aside 30k to 20k of that money to use as cash reserves. 

I have already read Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner and I'm looking for new material to read. I have a small background in construction -- I used to do small jobs like tear up carpet or help cut or demolish sheet rock for my local church -- so I'd like to try serving as my own general contractor. I work a typical 9-5 out of Manhattan so the time I have is limited to a little bit in the evenings and the weekends. Any advice anyone can offer me will be greatly appreciated!
