Inspection period without a contractor

Hi BP,

I am in North Carolina getting ready to start doing my first BRRRR. I am in the process of looking for my first property.

I was curious as to the inspection period. What if I do not have any contractors to walk the property with the inspector? What would be the best way to estimates rehab costs? I know I can hop on YouTube and get a basic understanding of doing it on my own, but I would much rather rely on the contractor as they would have a much better gage of what a project would cost.
