Insulation Hydration Equation

The house I bought has no attic insulation, and it uses drywall for the attic floor (the ceiling of the floor below). If I don't install insulation, will I run into problems with moisture collecting on the attic floor? I know my utility bill would be higher, but I wondered if there were other consequences of not installing insulation and how likely the issues are to occur.
