STR: Rehab Loans and Taxes
If all goes well this week, I will be getting a AHFC REHAB Conventional Loan- Owner Occupied, on an unfinished duplex. I have SO many questions.
One side is only wired and framed. The other side needs some electrical work and some finishing. Both need furnishings and decor etc to get started as an AirBnB.
Are all the building costs tax deductible with owner occupied loans?
Is it important to start an LLC as soon as possible?
What steps should I be taking to get as many tax deductions as I can on this build?
I need a CPA to walk me through how to maximize tax deductions!
