BRRRR Question - Does tenant affect appraisal for refinance?
Long time reader, first time poster.
My wife and I are about to complete our first BRRRR property. Our remodel is nearly complete, with only a few finishing touches to add. We have not begun the refinance process, yet. Is it ok to begin the refinance prior to putting a tenant in the property. It seems like the property would appraise better before a tenant has a chance to mess anything up, but we would like to get the property occupied ASAP. We appreciate any suggestions on this issue.
