Buildium and Quickbooks
Hello,
I personally have 36 units that I manage using buildium. I manage those properties as if they are my clients as I wanted to take on more PM clients in the future. I'd really appreciate if you could expand on each point.
1. At this time, I'm doing full service property management which means my PM company pays the mortgage, all expenses for all the properties, take the management fee and send out whatever is remaining to the owner. Is this a good approach to do? the reason I do this is all the transactions happen in PM company and not holding companies. not sure if this is good or bad thing.
2. In regards to buildium, I don't have the ability to scan receipts with mobile which is a huge pain point for me right now. I keep on missing receipts because of this. I'd love to know how others are tackling this.
3. Is there a way that we could still use buildium alongside quickbooks or is that double work? I'd like to know if quickbooks is needed in the first place. The reason I was looking at QBO was for receipt scanning directly into accounting platform.
