Mapping Software

Hi All,

I want a visual display of specific properties that meet my criteria on a city map to help me with my sub-market research. Does anyone have a recommendation for a mapping utility that will enable me to:

- identify properties on the map by putting the properties mailing address
- save the address and enable me to bring it up as needed
- potentially print out the map

Alternatively, I could accomplish the same with a paper copy of the city map and mark those properties using push-pins. However, it would be great to accomplish it digitally.

For these needs, google maps works great. You need a google account. Then you can create you own maps. Put in the properties. Add notes. It will show you a street view of the property. You can put place marks on the addresses. Printing works fine. Last I was looking at properties my agent would send me a group of listings mid week. I'd review them and choose the ones that looked promising. Then make a map with those properties, the key facts and a link to the local MLS listing. Print it out and use it when we were driving around.
