Anyone using Zoho CREATOR To Mail Merge?

I'm playing around with Zoho Creator's in an effort to customize the perfect database and I don't see where you can use it to pull specific data for the purpose of mass creating and sending letters. I've seen some posts from Zoho employees on how to do it but it seems more complex than what it should be.

Anyone got a simpler way to mail merge with Zoho Creator? I was thinking of exporting the data to an excel spreadsheet (assuming it can be done in Zoho Creator) and then mail merging from there. Anyone else?
