Canadian Propstream Alternative?

Cole Jorgensen

Hey all,

I'm new to this game and feeling really excited to get started! I'm based in Vancouver, BC, working in the surrounding area and aiming to break into other provinces next year.

I've found a lot of content through social media but almost all of the info I've found is centered in the US. I'm specifically curious what software wholesalers and investors are using in Canada that mirrors Propstream (it's my understanding Propstream is limited to the US). When I try Googling it I can only seem to find real estate focused CRM's, which obviously aren't helpful.

Thank you for any help you can offer, I really appreciate everyone's time.

Humbly,

Cole

Quote from @Andy Twerefour:

@Doug Pretorius Do you have any recommendations on different routes to take when looking for motivated sellers or absentee properties?

Driving for Dollars or farming a neighbourhood are two of the best ways to find off-market absentee owned property. You can ask neighbours if they know how to contact the owner. If not you can run a tax record search or a title search to hopefully find the owner. It's not cheap but it's just about the only way to do it here in Canada.

Motivated sellers who still live in their properties are easy to find: FSBO sites, expired listings, cold calling and door knocking are all effective.
