GIS Mapping Raw Land for Development
I am wanting to identify raw land parcels in my area with certain criteria that I can prioritize based on specific variables. I do a lot of GIS work in my day job, and have done similar stuff, but never exactly quite like this.
I’m developing a GIS model, using constraint overlays such as acreage, floodplain, slope, proximity, ETJ, etc, which will then analyze, categorize, and prioritize parcel data. That part is easy. 2 areas I’m struggling in is tax/sales data, and utilities.
Anyone have any experience utilizing this data and developing a GIS model? Thanks!
