Use Yardi just for accounting?

Max Nussenbaum
Posted

Hey everyone,

I'm wondering if it's possible to use Yardi just for the accounting features, while using a different piece of software like Buildium or AppFolio for the rest of my property management needs. Been trying to ask Yardi's sales reps, but I can't get a straight answer out of them. Anyone know if this is possible? Can you buy just the accounting tools?

Thanks!

I own 19 rental houses and my research so far shows that Quickbooks being an accounting software can also be customized for property management for small scale management. References: Nancy Neville and  Gita Faust. After many years of not getting time to do this I plan on setting up this way for 2019.  Gabe has more background and experience, and may have a better reason for two software.  I welcome any new information on this.
