Hi All,
My girlfriend and I have recently started our real estate journey. My girlfriend, Amanda, or "Mandy", thought it was a good idea to document this adventure on her Blog. We just finished our first flip, and she is on her way to earning her Connecticut real estate license. We are now hunting for our second flip, while considering buying a rental!
For those who are experienced in social media/blogging, I am asking for any advice you may have for a "newbie" in branding and getting our names out there.
Thanks guys!!
Hi Andrew! I'm looking forward to reading her blog! Congrats on your first flip, where are you looking for your next?
Here is a link for some more info on generating leads and blogging about real estate. If you follow all of the writers stuff, you'l find a ton of information. https://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2014/10/21/lead-magnets-the-secret-way-to-build-an-awesome-email-list/

Hey Andrew,
If you haven't done so, I would recommend signing up for Instagram and post your progress photos, and before and after photos. It's an easy and free way for you to easily get your content out in front of other house flippers or investors.
When you post, make sure you use hashtags so you can easily be found:
#flippinghouses #fixerupper #fixandflip #flipthishouse #houseflipper #realestateinvestor
It's important to be social/active by liking and commenting on other people's content. They will eventually return the favor and follow you, like your content and hopefully visit your blog!

@Andrew Winter congrats. And I think it's a great idea that Amanda is going for her Real Estate License. I left my corporate job 4 years ago and became a full time agent. Best thing I ever did. Let me know if you guys have any questions.
Hi where can I find the pics and property info. I'm also looking to invest in the Bridgeport area. Thanks
