QUESTION:  If a person wanted to do a website for real estate listings, where a person could click onto a map, select a state/city, and then go to properties in that area, where there would be photos of property and page with info, what would it take, and what is the ballpark of what costs would be? Say if you started with 10-15 states?

It's likely you can do it with a mix of features available on existing out-of-the-box platforms.

I think  Placester offers a feature like this already built. As a software developer, I can assure you that using a prebuilt solution is always the right choice until you achieve some scale.

If you were going completely custom, I couldn't imagine getting away for less than $50k.
