friend wants to purchase a house

hello I have a friend whose nephew is 26 year old and works in sales and on commission. No base salary just commission. He is wanting to purchase a home has good credit but cannot seem to get a loan. Can someone please give me some examples of loans or ways to purchase for this friend's nephew. Thank you in advance
