BellesLink - Has anyone used them for skip tracing?

Question

I am considering trying out this company for skip tracing, I was wondering if anyone else has had good or bad experiences with them?

Or if you have any other advice in regards to other good companies.

I'm also curious about this company.  I recently ran across it and the offer is almost too good to be true.  I'm sure I could easily use up those 2000 minutes as I make a lot of calls so I'm not sure I would use their phone but the skip tracing and other tools seems really great.

@Cristina Ortega in my personal experiences it is always better to find someone who can complete skiptraces for you whether it be a va that you find online ive used upwork.com in the past.

Keep in mind that alot of tools you sign up for to skiptrace you must have a secure log in. So it will be difficult to add a VA to your account my advice is to find a VA or 3rd party who has their own skiptracing tools, also keep in mind that not all data providers are created equally some use outdated phone numbers and charge you whether its a working number or not. What has worked for me in the past is finding a individual that could provide a consistent data pull in a timely matter at a fair reasonable price thats what has worked for me! Hope this helps.

I'm responding to Dan White's post.

Our Terms of Service and End User License agreement stipulates two way confidentiality. Therefore, I'm unable to comment on the specifics of Mr. White's post other than to say we flat out deny everything he wrote.

Mr. White mentioned the BBB. We responded, the BBB marked the file as closed and did not change our A+++ rating. I'll add that in almost 30 years of providing skip tracing related services, I've not had one BBB complaint.

I started my first company in 1991. From there I designed skip tracing applications that changed things.

Some here mention TLO. Hank Asher, who founded TLO, was a friend. I knew him well. Hank and I were going to develop something at his first company, Database Technologies.

I started Belles Camp (the company that provides BellesLink) in 2002.

I've always operated with a belief that it's your customers, who are your best sales people. Customers are everything to us, because without them we have nothing.

You don't make it in this business for as long as I have, 28 years and counting, operating any other way.

It really bothers us that Mr. White is unhappy. We did everything we could and more, but we just couldn't make him happy. It happens.

Here's a couple tips:

1. Don't look for the perfect database - because there isn't one. Instead, the best skip tracers use 3 or 4 different sources.

2. If you're only going to use one source, which you shouldn't do, find the one you hate the least. ;-)

To add to that Mojo Dialer currently only searches for land lines on their Reverse Lookup (from a phone conversation I had with them yesterday) Something to consider as most people are using primarily cell phones. But at $25 per month that may be worth it.

In my defense, I contend that everything in my original post is true.

I did file a BBB complaint and because it became a 'back and forth' between myself and Mr. Kulas, I decided to spend my time on more important things.  I, myself, have been in real estate for 7 years and during that time, have no complaints on BBB.  I maintain my A+ rating.  I am registered on BBB by the way.

My original post was a reply to Christina, who was asking for advise.  I simply stated my experience.  I can give more details to anyone who would like to know them, however this is not going to happen here.  Again, I am simply defending myself, since Mr. Kulas is essentially calling me a liar on this thread.

My experience has been decent with TruePeopleSearch.com.  It is free and you can do individual searches.

My experience with BellesLink was no good.  I tried it and they couldn't send the data back the same way it came- a rather reasonable request so that I could systematize my workflow.  On top of that, I was charged for the searches that yielded absolutely NO results / no phone numbers whatsoever.  The searches that yielded any results were poor results.  To make matters worse, Jeff at belleslink ignored my email for 2 weeks.  When I asked for a refund of the $207.20 they charged me, they denied it.  I filed a complaint with BBB, as I feel they are unethical.  It is tuff to find anything comparable to TLO out there!  Try TruePeopleSearch.com - it is free and not too shabby of results...they just don't do batch searches.

I'm guessing (hoping) its different city to city, but my experience with Mojo is that it's horribly inaccurate. I messaged ~400 people, got 60 responses with 54 saying I had the wrong number.

To anyone on this thread, I thought I would also share my recent inquiry into Mojosells.com.  I spoke to them on the phone the other day and they have some skip tracing ability in the fact that you can reverse address search on their database and pull phone numbers that you can plug directly into mojodialer which is a cloud based call system.  It's definitely more geared for real estate agents but could work for investors.  They said they have been talking to more and more investors about it.  Anyway, just an alternative although they offer less than Belleslink and I don't know how great the database is.
