He mention you can text a number an address and it auto goes into google docs. does anyone have the link to that IFTTT function?

I'm guessing you make a dummy contact called 'House Leads' and then all of your texts to this contact will be saved. But, I'm not sure if that's quicker. 

For free, you could use Google Forms, create a very simple form that just asks for the address (or a ton of other optional form fields, depending on how much time you have on any given instance). Then choose to have the responses directed to a google sheet: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/2917686?hl=... Save the url of that Google form to your phone's home screen, and now you just open the app, type in the address, and send - same actions as you described above.
