Best Marketing Campaign Management Software?

Hello Everyone

I was hoping to get input on your experiences with marketing campaign management softwares. Specifically, I am in need of something for direct mail and email campaigns (although I am not opposed to using a different management software for each, if the results are markedly better).

Ideally, I would like to find a system that helps automate, organize, and analyze the various campaigns my company runs, with a boost in conversion rate being the ultimate end goal. If you could share any experiences (good or bad) that you have had with such softwares/platforms, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Kevin Fox,

Are you looking to connect your marketing campaigns to forms on your website and include marketing automation such as automatic follow up emails? If so, HubSpot is a great tool for this, it has great analytics and tracking, and it's something that I've used for the past 3/4 years. You can A/B split test email campaigns to help increase your conversions.

Their pricing is based upon contacts that are imported into the system. Here is a link to their pricing page:

MailChimp works for simple email campaigns as well, is cheaper, and even offers a free version:

To clarify, there is a difference between HubSpot's marketing platform and the HubSpot sales tool fka as Sidekick that @Gabriel Hershberger mentioned -- these are two different softwares. The HubSpot marketing software allows mass emailings, marketing automation workflows, etc. The HubSpot Sales tool is more for tracking individual sales emails sent to prospects and clients to monitor email opens, clicks, and the location emails are opened from. It's a GREAT tool I would recommend to anyone.

I use a direct mail company to send out monthly mass mailings (postcards) to prospects with a specific URL that takes them to a HubSpot landing page with a form. I can then track landing page views and conversions through HubSpot.

Thank you so much for the detailed response. The information you provided is incredibly helpful. To answer your first question, that is to some extent what I'm looking for. On top of the tasks that you mentioned,  I would also like a system that tracks contact dates and is able to remind me in someway shape or form to connect with those that haven't been touched in a while.

I will likely check out both the HubSpot & mailchimp tools you mentioned, but it sounds like the HubSpot product is more along the lines of what I'm looking for.

The HubSpot sales tool tool is also interesting, but it sounds like that is more along the lines of a mail tracking app than an automation system.  Is that a fair assumption?

As for the process I currently have in place, it is somewhat between the two places you mentioned. I do have systems in place for most of the tasks, but they are not nearly as integrated as I'd like and some are rather limited in regard to features. So, Im more than willing to start from scratch if that provides a better long-term result.

@Kevin Fox, not exactly sure if this is what you are looking for or not but I have heard SumoMe is a good product (disclaimer, I have personally not used it I am just going off what I have heard others discuss about it) that directs traffic to your website as well as has other tools in getting your branding out there.  I believe, I cannot remember which Podcast but the founder was on the BP podcast awhile back, sharp dude might be something worth looking into.  Not sure if that is what you were looking for but there is my 2 cents!  Best of luck!

@Kevin Fox I run a small service so most of my team is in house but one of my virtual assistants came from Upwork and I have had a great experience with him and their service check them out! It may be best to find someone that has some type of prior experience helping out RE professionals.
