Suggestions for CRM for relationship management?

Hi BP Community:

Thanks in advance for your help on this. I have done a lot of research on CRM systems, and still not happy with a system for us to use. We need a CRM system that does the following:

1) helps organize contacts (i.e. groups such as networking contacts, current investors, potential investors, turn key investors, etc),
2) allows for the ability to take notes on each person
3) schedule follow ups and opportunities.
4) Something that syncs with google calendar
5) syncs with mailchimp

I was recommended to use Pipedrive, and have been playing around with it is but it is a little too "sales" oriented. I have used Salesforce, but way too robust for what we need. I see a lot chatter on BP about Zoho and Podio but both seem more "project management" vs what we need it to be ....primarily relationship management system?

Any recommendations?

Thank you again in advance for your help!
