Website for our investing business

Hi all,

I have a question for you all about websites.

My wife and I are full time real estate investors (flips, long term rentals and one STR). We invest in our local area and also out of our province. I'm wondering what other investors in our position have for their business' website. I know that a website needs to serve a purpose in our overall marketing strategy but will likely not be the main centrepiece of it.

Some of my main goals for a website would be:

  • - To add creditability to prospective private investors or partners
  • - To be a landing page coming from my business card, email signatures and social media profiles etc. (we currently “blog” our projects and keep followers updated on what we’re working on on instagram. This seems to be working driving people to our instagram profile and links)
  • - To let others know who we are and where we’re from
  • - Maybe to showcase some flip projects or a current portfolio at a high level? Might be a good ice breaker when meeting a prospective private lender?

We’re not trying to sell/rent homes or do any wholesaling from this website. I think the avenues we have for that are working fine separately.

I’m wondering if someone can show me some an example of their investing business’ website. I’m also looking for feedback if there is anything I’m missing in my list or should exclude.

Thanks!

Kevin
