Need advice for partner with a great product but crisis of confidence

Hi,

I'm Jess, I need y'alls help. My partner took a leap and ditched his 9-5 for real estate a couple years ago. He bought and sold a couple houses before he realized he doesn't dig the sales part. He pivoted to tech, taught himself to code and created an app for real estate investing, it has two interfaces one that is buyers and sellers. Investment buyers portal features (calculates purchase offers, sales offers incl owner's financing, creates documents, tracks leads) and portals for leads (document uploading, education). It's streamlined and efficient and I'm so proud of him.  The plan had been to launch and market it but here comes the snare. He pitched it to one person he'd built up in his head and they decided not to adopt it. He has had a crisis of confidence since. He worked for a year on this thing and now can hardly touch it.  It kills me because he and the product have so much potential. He also lacks a mentor to give him expert advise and set him straight, whichever direction that may be in. I'm in a totally different field and have tried to be a cheerleader and sounding board, but he needs much more than I'm qualified to give.

Are there mentors out there who would be willing to advise him? Anyone with advice for how to launch an app and then how to market it? Any groups or resources he should get in to? He will likely kill me when he finds out I did this but it'll be worth it if he can turn his confidence around. A thousand thanks.

Best,

Jess
