Zillow and Trulia's Accuracy

Anthony Cicero
Posted

Hello everyone!

This is Anthony Cicero, I'm a Realtor on the Cicero Team at Keller Williams. I have a quick question about Zillow's/Trulia's accuracy. Often, when I am dealing with a renter and they send me a property for rent on Zillow/Trulia, it shows it has been sold on the MLS. I typically will have my clients in a portal on the MLS, but they still are going to use Zillow/Trulia(Due to it being well-known by consumers and the interface being very easy to use). Does anyone have any advice on how to troubleshoot this issue with future clients and how accurate can these services be if I run into this problem at least much more than I anticipated?

Thanks for the help!
