Long Island Real Estate-Timing the Market

Nicholas Genduso
Posted

Hi Everyone,

I recently joined BiggerPockets and am new to real estate investing. I am strongly considering buying a single family property and renting it out, but am not sure if I should wait. Right now we’re in a sellers market and prices are pretty high.

I wanted to ask more seasoned investors what cycle the market is in right now and whether I should hold off until conditions become better for buyers.

Obviously no one knows what will happen with Covid going on but I’m curious to know how other investors view timing the market and finding value.

Thanks,

Nick
