Hi fellow DMVers,

As a longtime member/lurker who's never posted, I wanted to take a second to introduce myself. I work in acquisitions for a boutique developer in Logan Circle. We mainly do condo conversions, new construction (8-50 units), and multifamily rental acquisitions. I'm also an investor on the side with a few deals under my belt. Oh, and I have a master's in urban planning and I'm in the process of getting my master's in RE from UMD in College Park.

I'm always interested in talking DC real estate, from zoning regs to TOPA and everything in between. I'm also obviously interested in hearing from any agents/sellers who want to form a relationship and work together on future deals.

Feel free to message me!

Ryan

I agree with you 100%. TOPA rights are very important, but when we're trying to acquire a multifamily and one tenant is holding out for $50k to forfeit their rights and vacate, I'm guessing that's not what the council had in mind when they passed it.
