Beginner. Looking for Advice on Best Place to Start
I am a beginner REI. I'm looking to start my business in wholesaling and later buy and holds. I've read so much on the wholesaling and assignment process I'm stuck in analysis paralysis.
1. It’s been suggested to me that starting with full authority probate Properties is a good place to begin.
2. Virtual wholesaling is also a thought. Though I can't afford Chris Chico's virtual wholesaling program I am strongly interested in virtual wholesaling but don't know how realistic this idea is as you can't physically see the property. I live in NY my LLC is formed in DA.
Any suggestions on how to settle my mind and on WHAT PATH might be best to focus on and HOW to start would be greatly appreciated from the bp community. I’d be nice to close at least one deal this year and know that it can be (over time) a viable business.

@Quincy Baker, I wouldn’t recommend spending money on a course right away, don’t get me wrong it can help improve your skill set in the future but If you’re new to this industry there’s so much free information out there on YouTube, podcasts and BiggerPockets, you already got a few hours of highly valuable “free training” to watch.
Also even though most “gurus” advertise the “invest in real estate with no money” the truth is you still gonna need a few thousand of seed money to buy a list, skip trace, send a few mailers etc... in wholesaling the result come with persistence and it can take a few months until you get your first deal under contract.
Lastly, don’t stay stuck in a analysis paralysis mode, the best way to learn is to pick a property, try, fail, learn get up and try again, there’s really no better training out there ;)
If you don't feel like doing it alone, you can also find a mentor or JV partners, bring them value and learn from their experience.
