Joining a real estate club with membership.

I have been to a real estate club and they have a membership and they train you how to be a wholesaler a flipper etc. does anybody have advice?should you go it alone? So far investors seem only want to give referral fees, or they want a membership, course fee to train you. instead of co-wholesaling a deal. Etc.
