The Real Estate Gurus

Recently, my inbox has been blown up by real estate "gurus" offering classes and inviting me to free seminars! (exciting right?) I started poking around and trying to find out more about what they are teaching... the information is vast. Out of intrigue, I signed up for a local investing class with thee Than Merrill. I am not positive if I will attend or not but I wanted to discuss with the bigger pocket community and see if anyone had gone to any of these types of seminars? Did you find it educational? What is the big picture they are trying to sell you on? If you would never in a million years attend one of these events, why not?
