What is Unlimited funding

Hello everyone I'm attempting to dive into REI and would like to know where to start. I've watched Marko Rubels webinar but I'm very hesitant to spend $1k and get run arounds or get suckered into spending more. I figure some type of finance accompanies REI however I'm just cautious as who and where I put my money.. any meaningful directions would be greatly appreciated
