Online Real Estate Certificates

As I transition from my current professional practice and educational background of architecture into real estate, I'm considering to add to my knowledge base with a few online courses.  Of course I read and do a lot of self-educating, but I feel a few structured course from reputable academic institution (under 10k) couldn't hurt.  I've come up with 2 possibilities:

  • Cornell University - they have two online real estate certificates via 6 courses, one in commercial real estate and one in Hotel Investments and Asset Management.  $3600 for 3+ months
  • Harvard University Extension School - $7200 for 18+ months

Wondering if anyone else has tried these courses and can share their experience?

Thx,

Troy
