Getting started in real estate book list

Viraj Patel
Posted

While I am not new to real estate investing (I have worked in commercial real estate finance in a previous career and have invested in a few crowdfunded deals), I am new to directly investing in real estate personally. My goal is to own a portfolio income producing properties that builds over time. But I also want a broad overview of real estate investing so I'm interested in reading about flipping houses as well, for example. So I put together a reading list based on books recommended here on Bigger Pockets, Amazon reviews, and other top lists I found on google. I know I can get a lot if not most of the information in these books for free on BiggerPockets, but rather than spending hours searching through past posts, I figure let me just spend a bit of money to save myself the time.

I'd be curious if anyone thinks any of these books are redundant and can be dropped. Also, if you have thoughts on what order you'd recommend reading these, that would be helpful as well. Thanks!
